Hi i have a 1994 Verada, i can use remote to open and lock the door but when i pull the door handle to open the door the alarm always goes on,
I pulled the fuse of siren off so it doesnt annoy me but the battery will be drained after about 1 day, i tried to replace to a new battery but it still drained if i sit the car there, i tested about 14volts while the car running so the alternator is working,
does any one knows how to fix it or how to disable the alarm?

I have a simillar problem to you, I have a 1992 KR Verada and I can only use the remote to unlock the car, if I use the key it just locks itself again and sometimes when I unlock the car using the remote the alarm goes off, also sometimes when I'm driving along the doors just all lock even though I haven't touched anything, strange, hope someone can give us advise on this.

im not sure if the kr is the same as the ks, but can you disconnect it? plug in the boot underneath the parcel shelf in between the speakers (closer to the driver side)
