This is serious, my car has been invaded by Ants, they look a bit like sugar ants but are a little bit larger and brown. They are everywhere so far:

* I let a bomb off
* I sprayed everywhere
* I laid ant bait in strategic places

This is driving us all nuts and any useful suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Are you parking on dirt or near an ant nest?

Put ant sand in the carpet. Its just like a large grain of sand, only ants cant resist the taste/smell of it. they take it back to the next and kill every one :) One the ant population dies down, vacuum the remaining ant sand out of the car.

Parking on gravel driveway and yes there are heaps of ants in my area, I will try the ant sand.

Buy a big thing of ant sand and put it on the ground as well if its not going to rain in the next few days. No point attracting them all into your car if you know where the nest is and can sprinkle it straight on that. Unless they have another nest in your car... Im not sure how that outdoor surface spray would affect tires, but you could spray the wheels and anything else that connects car to ground with that after you park so they die if they walk over it?
