Hey all. I've just changed my headlight globes and for some unknown reason they are pointing right at the ground about a meter in front of my car. I know how to adjust the beam, i just have a slight problem... The adjuster screws are missing. Is there an easier way to turn the cogs than turning the mongrels with my finger? Its getting rather sore now and I don't seem to be making much progress

Is it possible the bulbs are in upside down? I think the reflectors are designed right down to the location of the filament and if the filament is offset then they have to go the right way round, which I think is usually prevented from being backwards by the design of the mount/base plate. Are the bulbs all the way in and not loose? Compare them with your old bulbs if you still have them.

i did notice a little tab on the bulb and a notch in the mounting and lined them up best i could. its an awkward space to be working in. i'll have to double check tomorrow when there is light again. they will do for now coz i don't normally drive at night in my car. just at dawn when the sun is partially up anyway. at the moment its better than they were as i only had one globe working. thanks for the tip
