Hi guys,
I have found that my A/C stops working at stand still because the condensor gets too hot without air flow. When the thermo fans decide to kick in for 15 or so seconds... I get about 20 seconds of A/C and then the condensor is too hot again. I dont have a seperate condensor fan...
I cant work out what is supposed to let the fans know the condensor is too hot. Very confused.
Any ideas?
Cheers

You should have 2 fans on your car, all second gens had 2 fans, the very last of them had the second fan on the front of the condensor.
I would be looking at the relays and if that is not an issue, would have to look at the car to get a better idea

Both fans should come on whenever you turn on the air con and stay on until you turn it off. There's a switch/connection on the compressor. Check that connection and all of the fuses.

The connections seem to be fine.
Where are all the fuses and relays that Id be looking at?
The fans do turn on for about 10 or so seconds every minute Id say. Im assuming that is being activated by the switch in the radiator... not A/C related.
So based on what Ive just read... for some reason the fans dont realise the A/C is going on. Is there a seperate fuse/relay related with the fans working when the A/C comes on?
Thanks guys.

Maybe Check the relay under the bonnet, (in the fuse/relay) for the ac? could be on its way out
