Hay all

Im getting a 2004 3.5l engine from a tl or tw fitted to my TH magna. My mechanic said the heads have come
of it at one point of the time cause its got lpg written underneath the rocket cover. Just wondering i dont wont
run lpg but will i loose power from this or not.?

Sounds like it's an LPG-compatible engine. If that's the case, you won't lose power; the engine has been modified for LPG.

Its got hardened valves and seats I believe, that was the difference in an LPG optioned Magna. It was just prepared for LPG out of the factory.
The heads will not have to come off.

How can i tell if it was actually was running on LPG from factory if it had been will that than mean i will loose power?
