Hi all - is there a particular bush in the rear suspension that commonly fails on 2nd generation wagons?
Just after a heads up before going in armed with a lever :) It shouldn't be the shock absorbers, as they were recently renewed.

Hey Renoman,
Old thread, but did you find a quickfix for the wagon rear-end clunk?
Got the same problem with my KS wagon. (has new shocks too)
Bushes aren't cheap and I don't want to spend more than I need to.
Dave.

Replying to my own post here.
Things seemed OK checking the bushes with a screwdriver (bit of play on the top links), but when I finally got the bolts out (needed a rattle gun to undo them) and removed the top links the centres fell out of three of the four.
Mitsubishi had none in stock locally (everything is ex-Sydney) but a trip to Pedders with the links saw me come away $$$ lighter but with both rebushed in red poly.
A mongrel to fit - everything needed to be levered into place, but for the first time in years no clunks from the back on bumps.
Front struts and tie rods are next.
