Hey guys.

Today i decided i'd wire up my old secondary alarm system that Mal and I had to cut the wires for so we could do my manual conversion. I ran the wires, soldered and did all that and went to try it and now the car WONT lock at all or start. Before it would lock like factory but wouldn't 'beep' or arm the secondary (obviously as it was disconnected) the only reason im saying its the factory alarm is because even with the secondary disconnected it wont start.

How do i reactivate the factory immobiliser it so i can just stay with the factory and **** off the secondary. Atm i have my motorcycle apart so i need to know asap so i can put that back together or sort this shit out with the car

Thanks guys!

does it use the factory mitsubishi remotes? most add on alarm/immobilisers cut the wires to the starter and fuel pump relays, trace the wires back to the alarm and bridge them wires and it should start.

Nah it uses secondary ones. Err I think I know where those relays are :-S I have RACV coming but ETA is 2 hours.

I'll see what they do, but if it means pulling the alarm out I'll do that then trace wires back to those relays and bridge them. I thought there might be a rhythm with the key barrel or something easy but it's never easy :(

can u hear the fuel pump prime when u turn the key and was it was allright before putting the 2nd alarm back in? just pulling out the 2nd alarm wont work cause it needs to complete the fuel/starter circuit

Quick Update - RACV came ( it was my neighbour behind so he helped me out a bit also ) and we looked at the alarm and have bi-passed it so i get a fuel relay connection however i still have no central locking. I'm going to email the bloke who set the alarm up 2 years ago and see if he will come out and re-install it or remove it or remove and install a cheap one that has no immobiliser in it.

Thanks for the help guys, ill update the thread when something happens
