hey guys,im buying a te altera magna fairly cheap it has minor front end damage, my magnas engine wont run properly the wreckers want 700 for an engine,i am paying allot cheaper for a whole car(old lady driver bonus) hehe, only got 170k ,ive got the base model executive and i wanted to convert the engine,with the interier aswell, power windows,cruise control,airbag, it is an auto,and mine is a manual so putting the engine in my te with all of those extra features, can all this be done? is there anything special i need to do? cheers

also am i able to take the abs brake system off it and put it on mine?

Can be done, you need to weld some brackets onto the dash support for the brackets to begin with

Just curous, what is wrong with this car you are buying to stop you using that one and moving the manual across

Also, if oyu intend to take across the power windows, cruise, srs etc, you will need to transfer the complete wiring system across, as fir ABS, you really need to be familiar with the system and how it works, you will need to change front hubs, rear knuckles or compelte back end, brake lines and then there is the wiring, abs modulator etc etc

bent radiator support
pannels dented scratches
would need to cut parts out of the front and weld
and front bar and side guard

i would fix it,but it is that green color,i dont really like it,mine is silver and the body on it is straight as a ruler.
