would a TH sports cluster be a plug and play swap into my TF advance?

Yes it will plug straight in.I put one in a TE with no probs..

Just to confirm, Easiest change over ever. Plugs in exactly the same as a TF cluster.

Don't the sports have tiptronic? It may "plugin" but i'm not sure how it's going to react with the tiptronic lights.

OP has a manual so it won't make any difference.
