Hay all

My new TW 3.5l engine and 380 cams have been fitted and WOW i can say the car runs so smooth but the biggest difference is the extra power over the TH 3.5l it just wonts to rev and its acceleration through the revs is faster. Im very excited for the tune to get the most out of these mods but i can say im very happy with the improvment and i would recommend it to anyone.

they are, but difference was a cam revise and slightly better tune. i think his biggest gain was the 380 cams.

so basically put 380cams into a TH 3.5L and get a tune = same result :)

Think you will find that he had damaged his engine to begin with so went for the later engine as it was available for the right price, was able to get the camshafts and is generally telling people that he is happy with his new engine and the cams have made a difference. Remember prob talking about an engine with far fewer k's thus crisper engine to begine with, add cams and this gives a nice smile on his face

Think a place in sydney can dyno tune a magna, Not sure if you want to come down that far though. Flash tunes aren't too bad..

I would have thought a ralliart tune would be on the money for your current setup.

every car is different so obviously a dyno tune will give best results but we are talking a matter of a few kw and a saving of hundreds of dollars.

True will it be alot of difference dyno or postal tune? Or mabey get the same results from a postal compared to a dyno. Wat are others people thoughts has anyone got a postal tune?

Steve has done a lot of tunes and should have something that matches your setup so a postal tune should be pretty accurate

Unless he gives you the wrong tune or there is something different about your engine to what you specify e.g. Basicly a ralliart engine with free flowing exhaust. A postal tune should be no more then 1 or 2 kw off a dyno tune.
This obviously is allowing for the engine to be slightly different to one's he has previously tuned and saved the data of.
