Hey everyone,

I thought i might get around to putting a little bass in the 380 yesterday with a US Audio 12'' Sub and 2x45WRMS US Audio amp I had. I got a low level converter and am running it off the right rear speaker with the two right wires connected to one wire and two left connected to the other. I have power to the amp but nothing is coming out even with the converter turned up max the amps db turned all the way around and at any frequency setting. any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
I'm used to old fords and have had no problems but that was with Rca's coming off the head unit.

How is the Amp connected to the headunit if not via RCAs? I have never know another way...

How is the Amp connected to the headunit if not via RCAs? I have never know another way... is how, factory head units rarely have RCA's (something to do with the manufacturer believing you couldn't possibly want anything better, IMO :)) With the dominance of vehicle manufacturers including 'integrated' head units in to vehicles, this is the only way to get decent quality sound.

I have one of those Aerpro low/high level converter that runs off speaker wire to convert to the RCA's. I am running the remote wire off of the Ignition fuse under the dash and made sure there's power at the end of the wire plugging into the amp.
Will give you a call sometime soon I think Mike driving me Bonkers.

Raises another question, why use the Aeropro box, didn't the amp come with a high level input plug ? Less likely to get noise this way.
