Ive posted in another thread but thought id try again in a specific thread.
I need to identify which fuse in the engine bay controls the main (larger) fan situated behind the radiator?
any help would be greatly appreciated as i need to get this sorted by 7am tommorow:kb:
anyone?

You could pull the plug out of the fan, I will hunt for the info now :D

Yes, just unplug the fan you want to stay off. Trace the fan motor wiring back until you find the first plug and disconnect.

Wiring diagram say it fuse number 21 and is located in the engine bay fuse box.

Assuming you're after the radiator fan relays...Taken from the service manual for the TH/KH. Looking at it you'll need to remove all 3 relays (lo, med and high).
Ps..only the 3.5l has the med relay.

yeah i realise i can just pull the plug but after the accident the radiator is pushed back into the battery box and i cant disconnect one of the plugs
sparky is that the 21/40amp fuse?
EDIT: caz/sparky your a legend, thanks for your input guys, you just saved me burning the motor out.

Yes the 21 is a 40 amp :)

Just realised you have a 3.0l TF. The diagram i posted is for a TH, not sure if they are the same or not. The 3.0l has no mid relay either (at least in the TH).
Hopefully they are the same for you.

yeah i noticed the mid relay as you describe was missing, do you think by pulling the 21/40amp fuse would just overide the two black boxes (low and hi) relays? not that it matters i suppose if i just pull them all?

Yeah pull the fuse and it wont supply power to the relay :) and pull fuse 8 15A that does the AC fan :)

good stuff, fuse 8 is a 20amp on mine but meh, thanks again dude.. :-)

Nah I read it wrong, it a 20A fuse :)
