I know Madmagna has been saying Penrite HPR10 is fantastic oil for a while but I thought I'd share some interesting stuff I learned today.

As a motorbike rider, finding decent oil without getting ripped off is bloody hard. But I did some research today, and Penrite sell a fully synthetic oil (Everyday 10w-40) which is JASO-MA rated - and that's extremlely rare for any oil not specifically marketed for motorcycles.

I also found out they sell a copper-grease product which is perfect for brake caliper slider pins - also extremely rare in the market. Then I find out they also sell an Upper Cylinder treatment, which is a perfect alternative to the Subaru upper cylinder treatment (similar to "Seafoam" if you're a yank).

Last of all I find out they're aussie owned, and based in Melbourne no less!

From now on I know where all the oil I buy is going to be coming from!!

On this forums' suggestion, I've just bought some of the HPR10 which is now rated 10W50 plus they throw an extra litre in for $39.95 so you get 6 litres. I generally use the cheapest oil available and never had a problem so I am hoping for some miracles although my car runs like a Swiss watch.
