Hey guys
I'm after a tail light indicator globe for a set of KJ Verada tails.
I recall you could get bulbs that were either clear or tinted silver/chrome, but still flashed orange. Does anyone know their name and if there's anyone online who sells them?
I think they were made by Philips, but I had a squiz on the Philips site and a couple of others and can't seem to find them.
If anyone knows the bulb type for a KJ I'd appreciate it too :)

I know Autobarn sell them, I got some ages ago for my TH. I reckon you would find them on eBay, if you search for chrome amber or the like.

Philips silver vision is the ones i used in the front of my magna when i did the "orange" reflector delete mod, i also run them in the front of my evo.
Click this link: http://www.lighting.philips.com.au/v2/automotive/productrange.jsp?id=1012960&app=car_&vp=white%20light_car&va=white%20light_car#0
Then click on the product listings section and it gives you all the fitment details (e.g WY21W wedge globe, PY21W bayonet blobe etc)

i saw them for sale at Repco, they were silver in colour called like shadow globe or something, around $30ish. just take your standard bulb out and give it to them and ask for a replacement for that type.

Thanks for that guys, the Silver Vision is what I was after. Now to order a set :)
Yep, usually have a name like phantom bulb, shaddow chrome, mirror flash or something along those lines. They look silver from the outside, but you can see the yellow/orange if you hold them up to the light, or, obviously, if you turn them on.

Phantom bulbs, have them in the front of my para's. Most stores can stock them if you ask them to order you some in.
Cost me $22 for a pair.

I believe supercheap auto have similar bulbs in their home brand for a fair bit less.
Make sure the pins are in the right position, I wot some weird ones and the pins were not opposite each other (e.g. 12 and 6 on a clock) they were offset (about 12 and 5).
