just wana know if the front grill (the chrome one ) off a verada fits a magna of the same year or do you need an altera grill ?

as long as your car doesnt have 'the nose' and the car u take it off doesnt...itll fit

I've always wondered if it is possible to get stuff"plastic chromed". What sort of place do i go to to get it done? I have called a few electroplaters and they only do metal chroming.

Haydn, how much did that cost? And how long dus it take to do...say a centre console? Hows the finish?

I got all the surrounds from the electric window switches on the doors and the actual switch tops as well done.
Finish is Chrome mirror.
I dont think it would be any good outside... but im sure it would be as good as the chrome on the nose of the Veradas.
Inside.... I noticed when I moved the car on the weekend, (been sitting for 10 days) that the side bits were coverd in haze... could have been dusts/grime/condensation.... It could have been like that coating the inside of the windscreen gets on it... You know the grimmy crap that you have to wipe off when your car gets misted up on cold days... It could be just dirty breath :o
Anyway other thatn that they do of course show finger prints easily. and are VERY reflective... not a problem on the doors but could be a problem on the console...
All up it cost me $130 delivered back to me ( I choose to rub back the covers with 2000 grit and then put prepsol on them to get rid of any contaminants... saved a little on the cost for me to prepare them)
there a couple of divits (still covered in chrome) from the job and there as to be a place that they get held in the oven ... but thats anywhere on the back.
I was also thinking of doing the complete centre console but wanted to see the finish first to make sure that it was good... and it is :D
