Just spitballing an idea of a low mount single turbo,so i'm looking for some pics were the car is up on a hoist and your looking up into the engine bay just forward of the firewall if that makes sense.

Not exactly what you are after but there is not much room at the back for anything larger than a T28 as seen here on blackbeards car. shows the turbo sits very close to the steering rack.
