Hey guys,

Does anyone out there have a 3rd Gen Magna ashtray lying around that they could have a quick look at for me?

I recently updated to TL/TW ashtray, which doesn't have a cigarette lighter. I want to see if an older Magna ashtray has the same plug as the one on my Verada, before I go off to Pick-aPart and grab one.

What I want to go is grab a lighter so I can plug it straight into the existing wiring harness plug in my car, so I can plug my GPS into that- and have it all behind the dash hidden away.

No one has an ashtray lying around? Or could someone kindly go to their car, remove the gear surround trim then the ashtray and take a look? Only takes 20 seconds!

The verada and magna have different plugs..........the verada one is all in one like you have shown,where as the Magna,well ,in my TH ,has separate plugs for the lighter and lights...

you can always just isolate the power and ground wires on the loom and just run two wires back to your cig lighter...dont need to get a plug really.

It was worth a shot- will have to just wire up another ciggie lighter to the wires on the harness after I cut the plug off.

dont cut the plug off.get some female grimps.that fit the plug slade,s. it wiil save standed plug.

In the centre console bin in the T/KL's they have a 12V plug built in, just extend your loom to suit.
