I am posting a lot on here recently >.<

As some may be aware my front passenger window was smashed in a few weeks ago, the window has since been repaired, however I've come accross something new.

It appears the door will not lock. The lock latch (on the door for someone to lock/unlock) does not fully lock, it appears to be getting stuck, I opened up the door but can't seem to see anything wrong besides the actually rod (used to lock the door) bending because it can't move any farther.

I've attached two photos and a video, if anyone could help please do!

check for glass fragments in the latch assembly, quite a common fault after a window gets broken

i had the same problem when some son of a bugger smashed in my front passenger window and pinched my stereo and ipod. i found the problem went away after locking the car with the key on the effected door.

You can pull apart that white plastic cover (is just cliping in) and than you can see what is the problem! I recon is something stuck in there, or one of the metal bars are bent! i was in the same drama when i replaced my door handles!

hi, i have discovered the same problem as of last night, as my window was also smashed recently. if there is glass, do u think it will just fall out on its own? or will i have to take it apart?
also.. does urs sit on the seal properly?
