Hi everyone. My spoiler for my 2002 TJ Magna Sports appears to be suffering from severe weathering. I'm doing everything i can to stop it from spreading but it seems to be getting worse as time goes on. This began ever since i parked my car in the train station five days a week, so its clear why my pride and joy is coping a punishment. I'm thinking of having it resprayed but im unsure what kind of price i would be looking at. Would anyone know?

If it is just the standard sports spoiler, I couldn't imagine it costing more than about $150.
For my ralliart rear wing I was quoted $250 and that has more corners/edges than any other spoiler.

Thanks for that! I guess it will be worth it afterall. Just looking at that spoiler's coniditon simply annoys me!

Don't worry. Soon the rest of the car will have the same problem. lol Have a good look at the bonnet, roof and trunk lid. Depending on the colour, most 2002 TJs are developing the same clear blister and colour fade.

Its not a train problem, its a UV from sunlight problem.

In my part of the world, you'd be looking at $150 as well, but only if you remove the spoiler. If they need to remove it add another $50.

You could always just de-wing and fill the boot holes.. Would be cheaper mate.
But M4DDOG is spot on with the quote. (I also was quoted the same amount to prime + paint a Ralliart spoiler.

If your car is sienna red, there is a VR-X spoiler for sale in this thread that looks like it has good paint still: http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84646&highlight=

I'd just go for that new spoiler for $120.
