Hey Guys and Gurls, heres the story me and my mate were goin to replace his fuel filter on his 1986 Nissan Bluebird wagon GL, the car is carby and we cannot find the filter in the line any where??? We have followed the the fuel line from the carby into this weird balck cylinder with 3 fuel lines coming out of it, fairly sure it is to do with fuel emissions, after that there are two fuel lines that run back under the car to the tank. Where's the fuel filter???? im not sure if its just missing or what? Any help would be great :D

Maybe that black sylinder thing is the fuel filter? or maybe the fuel filter is IN the black thing?

u will probably find it is next to the fuel tank just before the rear wheelsl underneath a cover

Black cylinder is the carbon canister - for emissions as you said.
