Hey guys, yes this is another thread about tinting tailights!
BUT, what i have done is crack open my old ones. Sprayed the inside to match the TL-TW VRX style ones.
What i was thinking of doing is actually tint the interior of the lens. My thought is to cover the clear part of the lens where the indicator and reverse lights are and spray the rest of the inside black.
Anyone tried this before?

i assumed this is how they did it to look way more professional. IDK if its just how i did mine, but its very matt when they are sprayed externally. That would look very classy mate and i'd love to see how it all goes! It would probably be a lot darker when its put back together than when your spraying the inside so be careful not to over do it :)

I just went to Autobarn and bought the black taillights that are black. Sealed and shouldn't go foggy when temp changes. Now that you cracked open yours, they'll be fogging up sometimes.

Not if they've been sealed correctly.
Thin and cllean even bead of something like Sikaflex should do just fine.

I do have the black tails as you can see.
Black tails from autobarn/ebay = $250-300. These tailights, cost me a total of 0 dollars due to having it all lying around the house from previous mods
