Not sure if anyone has ever tried. If you know someone with the seats you are after you could try, or have an afternoon at u-pull-it and find out for the $2 entry fee.

i do have a ed fairmont im fixing up keeping the original interior maybe i could try measure as theyre the seats i want to try and put in, would ed fairmont front seats fit

I think it would depend on the rails that mount to the car, and if fairmont rails won't fit the magna, see if the magna seat rails will fit the fairmont seats. I've had seats in and out of cars a few times but mostly to get at the carpet, never to swap around seat rails. Just make sure that anything you change is secure enough that it will hold up in a crash and not have you and the seat fly through the windscreen.

never tried it but I think I've heard of people putting the rails onto bucket seats etc. Someone else may know, I don't think it's been done too often.

third gen front seats will fit no problems, the backs need a bit of wangling to fit but they do. As for the fairmont seats you may need to check the legality of switching rails from one seat to another as i seem to remember an engineers cirtificate being required for doing this. Try searching the second gen threads as i can remember it being discussed a fair while ago.

falcon seats do fit in with alot of bothersome mucking around and you do in fact need a engineers cert. if you dont have experiance playing around with seats dont try it, just grab a nice shiny set from the wreckers from a 3rd gen ( if your lucky and find a nice set of vrx seats throw them in) i put the 3rd gen seats in mine and am loving them big differance in comfort

is the dash wiring and engine bay wiring go together or is there plugs behind each kick panel to seperate the engine bay and dash wiring and what about the cabin wiring in a 94 magna

and how hard is it to get a verada dash wiring out does the dashboard have to come out to do it how long does it normally take

whe it comes to redoing the wiring i hope you either have plenty of cash or plenty of time and experiance sounds like your planning a mod that just isnt worth it for the 2nd gens

have you thought to just buy a 2 gen verada, or a nice 1st gen diamante

with the climate control, can you just take off the leavers and bolt in solinoids and itll work when its connected to the climate control panel, or is a while heater box needed, dont want to loose the ac gas.

No the verada climate control is complete different needs to be rewire. Hence if you want the toys need to either buy the ks verada or get the complete loom and reinstall into the car :) So nice idea but can't been done.

My suggestion is for you to go out to a wreckers and look at the different models, and also download the workshop manual look it all up.

what it meant was can i use my heater box and fit the climate control solinoids instead of the cables and wire them up or do i need a climate control heater box

i used the old heater box etc, just changed the motors, make sure if you do it this way you keep that plastic clip that slides on the end of the rod.

also does a verada v6 dash harness plug into a elite body wiring in the 93/94 model, will a verada dash harness plug into a exec model and the exec features still work and just lengthen the cruise control wiring until a elite body wiring is found, do you need the verada antitheft box to use the dash wiring or is it better to strip the cruise control, climate control and power windows to fit into a non verada magna
