I've developed a hole in my center muffler, around where the pipe goes in, along with a few other small holes along the exhaust.
I went and got a quote today and this is what i was told
Centre Muffler $290
Rear Pipe $275
Labour $157
Total $622
Is this a reasonable price to be paying? This is the first time I've had an exhaust replaced on any car, so any input is much appreciated, cheers

Probally cheaper to buy a full exhaust off Ebay.

Stop reading my mind haha. I'm on ebay right now thinking the exact same thing. Looks like I can save myself at least $100, and maybe finally get an upgrade while im at it.

What car do you have? I bought redback pipes for my Tj off ebay for $206 delivered. Full mandrel bent and contained a muffler and a smaller hotdog. Seemed good quality.

I've got a 97 TF. Redback's always seem to be floating around on ebay for a decent price.

If your rear muffler isn't damaged get those pipes. They may need about 10cm cut out of them depending on your engine but that's cheap work for an exhaust fitter. i got mine cut and fitted for $60 cashy.

Cheers man. That looks like the way to go. My rear muffler is in good condition, but I defiantly need to replace the pipes and center.

I got my entire exhaust system replaced from engine pipes through to rear muffler by Mits-Fix (check the site sponsor section). It cost me $470 all up. They were all pieces off a 3.5L car that had done under 100,000kms and when I looked at the pipes they were in amazing condition..
Excluding the rear muffler and engine pipes would cut that cost down a bit as well.

Wow thats not a bad deal at all. Probably worth checking the wreckers for any good condition pipes, never know, I might get lucky haha
