had to replace the clutch the other week. Cov's, repco etc, all tell me that the clutch out of a lancer is the clutch i need for the v6, to my mind this does not seem right. Compared the new clutch to the old and the new was much larger on the inside ie weaker. the old clutch was put in 5 years or so ago by previous owner, but the dude was tight so i doubt it was HD. wtf is going on?

i happen to beleive the hd clutches for the v6 engines are actually evo4 clutches. im sure ive read that before.

yeah but evo i can understand they put out more grunt than a 3l. but a 1.6l lancer isnt putting out squat compared to the magna
