anyhow, ive stitched her up for now, but i do need a new front bar, the cheaper the better lol

id love a vrx front kit, but seeing as they are almost impossible to find, an old bar in pewter paint code KX would be awesome...

Have you considered getting it repaired? I did a number on my VR-X front a couple of years back and it wasn't overly expensive to fix - about $150 + the respray. Looks as good as new.

Ouch. I have some doors if you like if they turn out to be expensive, not silver though.

bit of bad news the front drivers side of the bar is damaged as well but the passengers side is fine........ sorry man

lol i new that mal, but i was quite happy to just grab an exec bar :P

so I did this the other day too, is that part of the kit like a thick yellow plastic when it snaps? I was expecting it to be the same thin grey plastic my old GE kit was but it's a lot thicker and a yellow colour, i'm thinking it could have been replaced with an aftermarket fibreglass copy at some stage...

That's what mine was. 99% sure it was the original factory bar.

what type of business repaired it?

Just a regular panel beater. Turned out good as new.
