i'm not 100% sure , but your parabolics with HID may not be legal. check with the state road rules first

Others include auto headlights and wipers (PM me for details on this, I have this in my car using the JDM 'Auto' headlight stalk), memory seats, Nardi steering wheel & shifter, and buttons for the boot and fuel on the door.
Alot of that is std in XI cars.
Mike.

Isn't the hand brake mounted in the dash to the lower left of the steering wheel. Or is that the telescopic steering wheel controls?

That is the release handle. And yes it is dash mounted.
The steering wheel controls are on the column under the wiper stalk.

I've had my HIDs in my plastic parabolics for nearly a year and they've been fine. Your standard bulbs are 50w, whereas HIDs are 35w or 55w (for the sake of other motorists, I'd at least stick to 35w in your low beams). So they don't actually draw any more power (and produce any more heat), they're just a lot more efficient than a standard halogen bulb.

Yeah it was a factory special equipment with MICS (if the car has this it will have the power seat memory switch on the drivers door)
Generally only SE spec cars have it optioned (30R-SE or 25V-SE) and often it comes with the radar cruise control.
Oh, and as we missed out on most of this stuff, the Diamantes were alot higher priced to begin with. So we got the advantage ofa car that has core engineering of a grade or 2 higher than what would otherwise be the case. This is why MMAL were able to get away with selling essentially the same body structure for 9 years

When I updated my insurance policy to include the folding mirrors, I told them they were a std fitment on the JDM model cars and gave them the part numbers. They we're more than happy to include it as a genuine Mitsu accessory.
