G'day all
Have a 1990 TP EFI Elite that is running like a dog at the moment. When driving at times it just loses power, take foot off throttle for a bit, give it some herbs and away it goes again, like it's starving for fuel. Replaced fuel pump and filter, still same problem. Had another look and I've got a vacuum hose just floating around, comes out of front right (looking at engine) of plenum, runs along the fire wall to the left and disappears down towards the tranny (where I found it floating around) so would this cause problems given that the engine can just suck air in and also where is the friggin thing supposed to go? Any help greatly appreciated

could be a few things

make sure the fuel pressure valve on the end of the fuel rail is working

a guess your loose vaccume line might end at the charcole canister
