It will cost a fortune mate, sorry to say. Theoretically a turbo is better, but there are no turbo kits. Supercharger kits do exist for magna's though.

Why are you thinking of going the turbo/sc route? I'm guessing cos you love magnas and want to see it have some more go? If not, be aware it'll cost more than a my00 wrx (10k), an r34 gtt (12k), and probably get up towards evo VI (16k) territory, just saying. And people in that thread say it's going to cost a lot more than that.

That is a very clean ralliart from the looks of it. Don't expect resale value though after you add another 50,000kms to it, if you could get it for about 10,500 it would be a bargain

Wow that's amazingly cheap, i thought it'd be heaps more. Beware though, you don't know how good or the bad the car will be until you own it for a while, it might be a pile of problems. If it doesn't work out I'd be looking at car's turbo'd from factory.

There is a 190fwkw 3rd gen for 10k in the for sale section too which madmagna worked on.

The tl will probably sell for 3-6k, depending on engine, kms, condition etc.

Man there is never a simple answer. Superchager will probably be cheaper, you can get raptor set for about 9-10k installed, depending if intercooled or not. Turbo youd be looking at about 7k just for a BASIC turbo setup, then you need to add ECU, injectors, tune, so all up around 12k thats without cracking engine open (mind you some people here spent over 25k on turbo & engine only). How fats would it be? Well really stock engine wont handle anything past 7 psi, so you can probaly snap a quater in high to mid 13s.

What exatcly r u after? Fast car regardles of what it is , then forget about magna, get yourself xr6t and move on. However if you want somehting different & have some money to spend, then go ahead.

If you just want a weapon, get an r33 gtst for 6-7k with exhaust and wheels already done, highflow turbo $800, up the boost, ebc $400, ecu + tune 1500-2000 and it'll dominate the quarter in the 12s, it takes A LOT less than that to get into the low 13's. That's 10k for a 12s car, including the car!

If you want some practicality better off staying with the magna, or buying an xr6t, v8, chaser, aristo, skyline sedan, or even wrx or eo if you just want 4 doors.

Or keep the magna and buy a sportier car.
