Umm.. is there any particular reason ur running the subs off 2 different amps? U'd be better off running the the subs off the one amp, and ur fronts & rears off the other. When u load up an amp with 2 vastly different loads, I don't think it's too healthy for the power supplys. both for longevity & power output. When the load is pretty much matched per channel, it's a much better setup.. I mean ur front & rears may not draw exactly the same, but it's gotta be one Helluvalot better then the current setup.

well its mainly because im running them both of the rear amp channels because you get the super bass option on them and can run a low pass filter, where as the front channels only have a high pass filter and no super bass option. But as i still havnt set my system up yet until my car get repaired i still havnt got the chance to fiddle around yet

I've got a whine but it's from my amp only, wasn't there before I hooked it up, my rca's are running on the drivers side of the car and the power is running left side along with the remote signal from the HU. Anyone got any ideas or solutions on finding/removing the source of this noise :P

Pionner 305CBOX 800w Subs
Focal polyglass 130V2 120w splits
Heres my setup any ideas/thoughts?
Wouldnt you be better running fronts are rears off one amp then subs off the other.. you would have better control over your adjusting and will get more out of your sub amp..
This just seems to be the hard way..??? Thats my 2c worth anyway..

My just-sold TR had a Pioneer DEH-4650MP head unit, Pioneer TS-A6960E 240W 6x9's in the rear and Pioneer TS-E1076 110W 4" in the front (actually the fronts were replaced with Kenwoods at the last moment because they didn't fit. :) )
I sold the TR last weekend and bought a TH, now I have to go buy it all over again. :(

Well nothing to show off yet, since everything looks standard from the outside, but i've drastically changed the behind the scenes of things.
Currently I am running at a very low budget as in-car sound isn't a priority, but I still like some decent sound when I make long distance trips.
So far, I've still got the stock head unit with a 10-disc stacker. From there audio is routed to an oldskool Kenwood amp that handles 70w x 2 RMS @ 4ohms. I've got a single 8 gauge (i think...hmm, or was it 4  ) power cable from the batt to the amp, but later i'll pass it through a distro block so I can power more equipment.
From the amp i've got heavy duty cables to my Alpine splits (rated at 40w RMS @ 4 ohms, weee I get 30w of headroom :D) currently in the same stock location in the doors and mounted the tweeters in the tweeter pods you will find on the window sails of the VR-X and the like. Currently no rear fills are used.
Anyway after tonight I think the system is sounding great for what it's worth, much better then stock, nice and clear when up loud, however I loose fidelity when the volume is softer due to the limits of the crossovers. The speakers I would now assume was designed for SPL in mind and not SQ, so in the long run I shall be replacing these with some Focals or Morels, in turn comes a custom built sub box with a couple of JL Audio high end subs, replace the amps with Alpine V12's and get an active electronic crossover where I can define the crossover points and hopefully frequency width as well.
Anyway I've got some light additional mods I will need done and it should improve my low end. One, I need to sound deaden my doors, second, I've got to replace the plastic baffle with MDF. I plan to also run some ambient midrange drivers on the dash pods, but i've yet to find one that is sized apropriately (3" max is the size of the hole). I may try some horns, because its more flexible, I can mount the horns almost anywhere out of sight and then get piping from the horns to the pods, but that could be tricky altogether.
No pics from me, I didn't take any because I was flat out, but its extremely similar to Blakes setup, so theres nothing special there. In fact, the only thing you would see different is the amplifier if the seat was taken out. And if you're smart enough, you would notice the tweeter pods were not standard on my model :P

Ok all installed last weekend, cept for sub itll be swapped for a Dual 2ohm model on monday/tuesday.
Deck ~ Clarion DXZ-835mp, MP3/WMA, awesome deck can control TV, DVD etc.
Front ~ Vibe SA-K60's very sweet sounding speaker, damn they get loud. Have replaced the plastic stock baffle with 12mm MDF jobs.
Amp ~ Alpine MRV-F302 old skool V12 giving 120wrms@4ohms to each side.
Sub ~ Alpine SWR-1241d 12" Type R in Beva prefab box.
Amp ~ Alpine MRV-1005 old skool V12 giving 600wrmsx1@2ohms.
Deadening ~ Spray on sound deadener treatment to front doors and new MDF baffles. Acoustic tiles mounted behing 6" woofers and Dynomat speaker kit used.
Cabling ~ All Jaycar(Amp King lol) 4awg to the Dist block, 8awg from dist block to amps. Have a 100amp Maxiblade fuse at battery and the dist block is a fused item running 2x50amp fuses. 2xJaycar H/D 5mt RCA leads. HD speaker cable to splits.
Amps mounted either side of my boot near Tail lights.
All installed by myself(had MDF baffles made up), first time and damn was fun.
Have routed cables and tidied up since pics taken.
Still to do - Add rear fill, fully deaden boot, adding two screens to headrests, DVD player under front seat and fold out screen in dash.......maybe tax time :D
