Hey guys, Ive just completed a Cruise Control Conversion on my TJ..
Ive Added the CCECU, Brake Switch, Engine-Harness with CC wiring, Vacuum Pump, CC Throttle Body, CC Clock Spring and CC Stalk..
Now I cant figure out why its not working....
When I press the ON/OFF button the cruise light comes on, and then when I pull the lever down to engage the CC at around 60km/h it just doesnt take over...
So, Am I just missing something.. or is there a way to diganose issues with the CC system so I can pin point why it just isnt engaging....
Help Please!!!!
Whippy.

Hmmm, I dont have a clutch as my TJ is an Auto, However the CCECU i have may be from a "manuel" car and may need to switch closed or just bridged...

ECU is same on each manual and auto
Did you change the main harness or do you have a Series 2 TJ, then agian if a Series 2 it woudl have cruise already
I think you may have the issue either in the main harness or perhaps in the vac pump, do you know 100% for sure that the vac pump actually works, try it on another car first as they can be funny little buggers. If it does work then you really need to hook up and get codes, afaik the only way to do this is to hook up to a MuttII to get CC codes

I have the 1.5 series, so i had all the wiring there except for the engine loom, which i changed...
I got the pump from Upullit, so Im not entirely sure if it works.. I might just go grab another to see if its that, if it is ill take back the faulty one..
Or is there a way to test the pump?

Have you tested the vac pump, the diaphram on the tb etc etc, could be as simple as this or a hole in the vac hose
Best bet mate is to grab the manual and step through the diagnosis steps
