Need some advice in regards to my climate control.


I just changed my fascia and surrounds in my Ralliart from silver to black and have now come across a problem.

My climate control will now blow air to the face and the feet only but will not demistmy front windscreen.

I have had all the fascia and panels removed again and everything seems to be plugged in properly but i still can't get the front demister working.

Has this happened to anyone before or does anyone have any suggestions for things i can check ?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have the same problem in my Verada KE - would love to know the fix!

Cable or Motorised?

I know sometimes when people pull out their consoles they pull the vent cable thing right and its set 1 click off.. There's a cable behind the little console that attaches to the knob, that selects where the air is directed.

I really should get picture, but Im at work atm..

If it's motorised could possible be a sticky/siezed motor..

Be it that it is climate control then it would be a motoe ? Not sure.

Where would the motor be located ?

It's probably just unclipped on the motor, which is down under the centre console from memory. When I bought my KE it was jammed on the windscreen because of this, was years ago now though so I can't remember exactly which clip, just locate the motor and make sure its all connected properly.

I had the same problem with my TJ VRX

If you climb in the driver's side at floor level, look around the back of the centre console you will see the clips and rods that should move when you select the air flow direction. One of those has probably popped out of its guide. Just clip it back in and all should be good.
