Hi All,

Does anyone know if a TJ Magna Instrument Cluster fit a TF executive. My Speedo has stopped...oh no its going again...hang on its stopped again. They look same..?

TJ model cluster is on Ebay at present.. 370492424764

Odometer doesn't stop so must be an issue with speed display only.

And apprecste any tips on getting the cluster out of dash...please.

Thanks,
Russell
Melbourne.

Hey dude, have you tried replacing the speedo sensor first? When I first installed the transmission in my car atm mine did the same thing, swapped the speedo sensor over from my old trans (dead diff) and it worked fine.

To answer your question however, yes it does fit, but only if it has a analog odometer, the digital ones have different looms.

Hi Thanks for your reply.

As the Odometer still ticks over, I thought they must get same source information and just the display is faulty. If the sender is dead would the trip/odo still function?

Russell.

No it would not. The odometer reading comes from the speed sensor too afaik. Mine stopped ticking too when sensor died.

Excellent, means the display is buggered, many thanks.

also the trip computer if your TF has one won't work if the sensor is not working
