Hey guys, got a tj vrx series 2 since discovered it's meant to be lit up it's kinda annoying, question is does anyone know what type of globe it takes? As I'd rather pull it apart once to replace!

Thanks

I suspect that you will find that there is NO bulb holder or bulb.
I have a Sports AWD TJII. There is the connector in the wiring loom only, trip to a wreckers will fix that for you. Or Mits-Fix will have the relevant part.

The VRX is not meant to light up, being series 2 it has the wiring but you need the bulb holder and plug, this will cost you $15, they come from Verada's

You also have plugs for foot well lights and these can be plugged in too

You will also have the sockets in the C pillars for passenger map reading lights.
Just get 2 lights, pretty easy to make a template to create the cutouts in the C Pillar covers.

Why when the covers cost no more than just the lights?

The 2 front lights and the key light $25 for the lot, should have covers here for under the dash, if I have will throw them in as well. Rear pillar lights are $35, if you have the plug it is not connected further up anyway, it is not hard to wire them in

Thanks guys
I've got c pillar lights already installed abd working, thinking I may check the ignition incase the bulb is blown, it's not a priority ATM though!

As you have a vrx, unless it has been installed, there is no bulb or bulb holder there

Mal, I'll take the two front lights and the key light as a lot.
