Hey, just a quick question please. I'm just wondering whether the air con/heater fan motor unit that sits near/beneath the glovebox is the same in my TJ Magna as it is for the KJ Veradas. I have the rotary dials for my HVAC.

There is an opportunity to get a replacement from a KJ for my TJ and want to ensure that it will fit with no problems. I know the KJ's have climate control so there are obvious differences in the HVAC system, but just checking whether or not that extends to the fan motor unit?

Update: found a replacement fan/blower motor at the weekend out of a TF Altera. The only difference is that the Altera model was made in Australia whereas mine (TJ) was made in Japan. Easy enough to replace (remove the trim beneath the glove box and there are 3 screws, disconnect a T-plug and it drops out) Paid $75 and it works beautifully.
