Ive picked up 2X Alpine SWR-1221D and i need a amp to run them, hear are the specs http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_47_Alpine-SWR-1221D-Type-R-DVC-2-Ohm-12.html
ive got an alpine 300wat mono block for my pioneer sub but i don't think that's going to run them. What do you guys think would be a good amp to run them

A good monoblock that does 2ohm is what you want.
Rockford Fosgate R500-1, maybe. You can pick one up here for around $450, or from the US for $150 + shipping (best idea).
Whatever you get, look for roughly 500wrms @ 2ohm to drive them well.
Wire like thus:

Jaycar response mono block will work perfect. Good reliability and beat pioneer etc in output tests. 1000RMS mono will put out 600RMS @ 2 Ohm

Excellent value aswell as small format perfect for your application

There's a stack of them around.
The Jaycar amp seems pretty good, but my question is why do you want to have the amp under the seat if you're gonna have 2 subs in the boot anyway?
If it's a matter of space, you could just bolt the amp onto the sub box if you want *shrug*
Whatever the reason, anything that puts out at least 500wrms @ 2ohm should do the job fine. I recommend staying away from brands like kicker and such, as they're all show and no go.
Best bet really would be the jaycar one if you don't want to mess around with importing an amp or finding a good used one.
Cheap and powerful, and the jaycar amp i have works perfectly.
Bcae ftw :p
It's the best and easiest site i've ever found, so bloody useful.
I do in fact have that page printed out and next to all the spare audio gear sitting at work.
