are offering a rear wing fitted and sprayed for $440 - sounds like a good deal to me but has anyone in Sydney dealt with them happily or know of any other offers? Not looking for an extreme wing just the standard factory option style one.

Not sure on fitting and spraying but a TJ Sports rear wing is only around $320. I couldn't imagine painting and fitting to be more than $150

where'd you get quoted that - the local mitsi dealer here (Glebe - what's it called - City Mitsubishi?) quoted 'about a grand' for the original, painted and fitted.

Okay I'm getting confused here - I like the current VR-X style TL wing - its small (desirable - I want something discrete not a batwing) and would most likely fit a TJ boot and I can get the TL VR-X style via SSV. BUT, what does the TJ standard wing look like - is the pic attached the correct one? If not can someone please point me to the appropriate TJ Bum shot?!

ahh thanks sLug - that's plenty clear. I can get that type from SSV but my personal choice is the new TL style so I'm 99% sure that's what I'll do even though its 'non-authentic' looking. What can I say - I'm partial to discrete wings!

Wondering where I got the quote for the wing, um read my signature, I work at a mits dealer in spare parts, No offense but the retail on the wing is as I quoted, I will find out a TL for you

oh okay - I think the 'problem' with the dealer I went to is the painting - that's clearly in the 'too hard basket' as they don't have their own paint shop. Which problem is likely to persist with any of the dealers.

The TL VRX wing is about 300 bucks plus about 120 to paint from our paint guy. You just have to find a Mits dealer with there own panel shop

My TJ2 Sports wing on my TJ1 Advance costed ~$400 for the dealer to add when i originally purchased the (used) car. Not sure of the exact breakdown, but I'd got new 16" Verada alloys at the same time. (oh why didn't I get 17"!!! - those were the days before I started modding! )
