View Full Version : Tail Light Swapping

Hey Guys,
Looking at the S2 VRX tail lights (the clear ones with the lip), the indicators are in the worst position.
I remember reading somewhere ages ago someone that was going to swap the reverse with the indicators which actually makes them more noticeable. Wondering if any one has done this and with the wiring loom, how?

Well i tried it and while it is possible to switch the wires in the loom no worries,and it does work,but,the other major problem is that you cannot get a big /bright enough orange globe in a T10 size.
I tried led ,coloring globes etc,but it doesn't work..best bet is to get the Ralliart taiilights from a US Galant...

Yeah that was my concern... Short of electrical tape to hold the globes into the wrong sized hole for the loom connector. (so dodgy) lol.
Happen to have a link handy at all for the US Ralliart's from where you got them?

On those US lights, does the red reflector on the sides (where our indicators are) have a place for a bulb to go in a sort of running light fashion?

yes it does ,it is there and it works as well....
