i was in bursons today and bought a new ream main seal ($8 when Mitsubishi wanted $78) and timing case / crank pulley seal ($4.50 when Mitsubishi wanted $47). and someone might point out that they are not genuine but they are the same brand of what came out and the bursons guy says he seals them to Mitsubishi all the time so thats prob all i would have bought as 'genuine' anyway.

so anyway i wanted exhaust and inlet manifold gaskets but he reckons there is a difference between tr and tp gaskets. if that were the case then i wouldn't be able to bolt my tp exhaust and inlet plenum up to the tr engine im putting in? never heard of a difference mentioned on the forum before.

any suggestions?

there should be no difference, as ill done same chance and had no probs, the only diff has been carby to efi manifolds. carby casket has cut out for fuel pump.
