Im only getting into the whole ADR compliance thingy. Anyhow i got Sprintex fitted, problem is its only a matter of time ill get major defect on it, i had a run in with cops already they only let me with minor defect notice, which is obviously really easy to deal with. My argument that kit is ADR compliant didnt seem to make a difference given that i have nothing in writing, & Mitsubishi never registered complied Supercharged Magna. SO instead of waiting for that magic yellow sticker on my windscreen i decided to have it engineered.

Can any one recommend an engineer?

What cat would i need to pass emission test, at the moment i have 100 cell cat, which obviously would not come close. Car is tuned for 98 but... Any thoughts on my chances.

Do i need to put EGR diaphragm back in?

Most importantly $$$ im looking at?

Have a talk to Ego his car is, to my knowledge, fully engineered. I have been told engineering is very costly in NSW...

Im trying to get paper work from Sprintex, which should make certification easier but they cant find anything on the damn thing, so i might have to start over

Just speak to sprintex and get confirmation of compliance. Will be much cheaper.

Yea ive been trying to do that, they cant seem to find any paper work.... They said when their engineer is back from holidays he can provide with something, but i guess i still need to do emissions test....

Also after speaking with Tweakit (Sprintex dealer), kits did have engineers approval, he said it was really easy to do because Sprintex provided all the documents so engineer had no problems signing off.

Whats sux is that if they cant find those papers, they wont be able to give me emissions testing certificate which i will need to get the signature, but then how can they give me ADR compliance certificate IF they cant provide emission testing papers.

Anyhow after speaking with an engineer, he said he needs emission testing certificate, & looking at around $500-1000. Given that its only supercharger & the exhaust that changed (time to put factory airbox back in) Fook me

Is IM240 test still for free at Penrith?????
