Hey guys got a 2004 Mitsubishi TL VRX and I'm at the stage of wanting to lower my car has anyone got any advice for such as brands and what goes and looks well with the TL TW models? i heard pedders are too soft and that's what i had on my previous VT Commodore and i would prefer a kit that doesn't scrape every time i go out. and also has anyone heard about the car mate body kit for the TL i got picture of it in my Album but a few people on the web say that its a major dodgy design and very weak? can anyone verify this or know of any other kits available Cheers.

Keep the OEM kit you have, haven't seen a better looking kit anywhere.
As for lowering, I have Dobinsons springs with Boge shocks and for me it's the best combo I've had. Aside from Coilovers, which I haven't tried.
I wouldn't go any lower than Lows

most people on this forum hate car mate, they are bad news apparently. But grelise is on the nose with nice kit, just keep it stock :)

Use the Search feature mate, you'll find plenty of info about lowering.
Like grelise said, as long as you don't go lower than Lows, you won't have any dramas. Yes, you have to be careful, but it's not impractical.
