Anyone with first hand experience. What are the chances of getting a Blue Slip in NSW with a supercharged TJ Magna AWD?

If the supercharger is engineered it will be fine.

If not you will have to find a blueship place that can blue slip it without the supercharger then you fit it later..:) ;) :shifty:

As mentioned above its gotta be engineered EVEN for engine swap blueslip. Im awaiting for some paper work from Sprintex that might help me (to prove that kit is ADR compliant)... but still eventually i will need to have it engineered in order to avoid getting defected.

To pass a blueslip with raptor kit you will need to get engineers certificate. First you have to pass emissions test im240 at Penrith, from what i know its for free but you need to book in advance. Its a good idea to have a tune to lean out your AFR & fill up with E85 fuel.

Then its of for engineers inspection & report, they roughly charge $200 an hour, so budget about $600-$1500 depending on your mods. If your exhaust is modofied then you also have to do RTA approved noise test (engineer will do that) $100 one off fee

Go find yourself a nice small town with someone who does blue slips, and get to know the bloke.

My uncle recently did this, and the person doing the blue slip commented on the heavy duty looking air-con pump his car had.

See its not actually getting blue slip thats a problem, i know few places that will do it (for a fee of course), its when cops pull you over, & saying magna came factory supercharged wont get you very far & you will still get that yellow sticker., then its of to do blue slip again...
