Look under dash, Slide ECU towards dash and will come off, unplug, plug new ECU in and slide back on

aren't you talking about the BEM...which is "under the dash".
The ECU is in front of the centre console and i would think you would have to at least remove the side console covers and metal cover to get to it....im sure some one will correct me if im wrong

Probably would be a good idea to disconnect your battery first then do as Michael has said above.
Cheers Luke

True. Grelise is talking about something else.
Both covers underneath the passenger side and drivers side need to be removed. Drivers foot rest. The carpet needs to be pulled back. Metal plates need to be removed so you can get to the ECU. 10mm socket will be needed to remove the nuts holding the ECU in.

As Neo stated
1. remove foot rest
2. Pull back carpet
3. Remove metal panel
4. Remove 2 bolts from ECU
5. Remove lower dash panel LHS
6. Pull back carpet
7. Remove metal panel
8. Remove 1 nut
9, pull ECU out partway back, unplug 4 connectors
Install reverse of above
NOTE< Console covers DO NOT need to come off, is about a 15 - 20 min job at best for a first timer
