should be easy enough to go to Bunnings or Clark Rubber and buy some high density foam or rubber...

Just take a trace of it....get a square piece of some thing and cut it out,not that hard..

Whole base gasket is a single piece of rubber. Its there to stop water from getting into the boot past the bolt holes, and to stop the spoiler from moving about and marking the paint. 2 - 3 mm neoprene or similar, trimmed to match the outside contour of the joining surface. Make the bolt holes a bit bigger so you can slide the gasket around before you tighten the bolts.

Then again you could just put a bead of clear silastic around the outer edge before you bolt it down. lol

Include the lip too. Most spoilers I have seen have the gasket protrude slightly out of the joint, so you see a black line where the spoiler joins the metal work.

Best way to get a good fit. I wouldn't worry about any cutouts except for the bolt holes. Maybe stay 2 mm from the edge when you trim it?

The actual fitting kit isn't just rubber, it's self adhesive. To the point where the bolts are probably only there for looks.
