non musical...
Well, I tried installing an air horn from super C, it had two horns and a little box, relay, air compressor and some piping. This was back when I had no idea about wiring stuff, so i never ended up correctly installing it.
Anyways, with the dual horns, what happens is, when the air compressor starts, one horn plays first, and as the pressure builds up, the other horn starts playing. Sort of like a twin turbo sort of setup to me  Yeh, so it starts off with one horn, then the other one goes and its deafening!! lol

My Dad and I installed some triple air horns in my Mum's Pajero so that it would actually sound like something bigger than a Barina when we hit the horn (we had dual horns from a Diesel train on the 4WD we had before it, so the little OEM Roadrunner horn was a huge let down).
We got them from K-Mart, they sound great, do not have any delay between each of the horns sounding, however we did have a little hassle with the compressor, which we just cracked open, lubricated and serviced and it was fine - Still works, and we've had it in there for around 8 years now, not that we need to use the horn much ("How's the serenity?").
In NSW (and maybe elsewhere, I'm not sure) your priority horn (ie. the one that activates when you press the horn button on your steering wheel) must not play a tune or contain more than one distinctive tone. I also believe they're not real crash-hot on passenger vehicles having trumpet-style horns.
So, if you're going to install dual or triple air horns you will still need the factory horn to technically pass your Rego inspection (however, we have managed to pass many inspections with no hassles). Your best bet is to have a hidden switch and just switch it back to the OEM horn when you get your rego check done.

It's not what you know, it's who you know. :D Got the whole shebang, stainless steel horns and the compressor (24V job, good ol Patrol, hehe).
hey, airhorns are legal as long as its not your primary horn, and don't play music aren't they?

Yeah, that's my understanding of it.
Yes, airhorns are legal, but they must not be the primary horn.
We fitted a twin trumpet version to the windup toy, and they worked pretty good.
And, the 4bie had a horn from a Sprinter installed not long ago (no, not from colliding with one!)
