View Full Version : Angel Eyes around high beam?

I saw a really nice BMW the other day, it had the headlights on, and angel eyes around the high beams, so it's just the ring without the high beams on. A ring next to the headlights.
It looked really nice, I've been considering getting angel eyes but I don't think they'd be very noticeable around the headlight, if there's a big, bright light in the center of the ring it might not be seen as well.
Would it be legal for me to put angel eyes around the high beams, that come on when the normal headlights are on?

No, it would need to be engineered or fitted professionally with a certificate.
With that said 90% of the time if you do a good job of it, the police will be none the wiser.
Edit: As for brightness they will be pretty close to each other, so they will only really stand out with the headlights off.

So does that go for all headlight modifications? Bugger.
They stood out really well on the BMW I saw, so I'm hoping for the same effect.

Try telling that to Michael (maggie3.5), who has fitted HIDs & angel eyes, both high & low beams, to both his Magna & 380!
Not to mention LED driving lights, angel eyes in the driving lights and LED strips all over the place both inside & outside.

lol. I have nothing against people who do it, just stating a fact so people are aware of the laws. :)

I have fitted in my headlights angel eyes, and i'm driving with them on day and night, past heaps of police cars and RBT. None told/ask me anything about them!
I asked a cop a while ago about my whiper nozzel with white led, if they are legal, and he told be as long as the light is white on the front is legal. You cannot have another colour but white on the front and red on the back with a maximum of 5 break lights on the back. (QLD rules)
