Hey guys i have been having some trouble with my gas system. ill start with the beginning i have had this car since the late end of last year and it was running good it has been converted to gas and sometime during this year something has gone wrong about 6 weeks ago, the car started bunny hopping on daily driving so i have just been using Petrol since and it doesn't do the same on petrol so it must be the gas system? my dad said something about the jets but i have no idea any thoughts?

injected lpg has piping and stuff going to ech cyclinder ....mixer jst has converter running into air intake - so look into engine bay and see for yourself - heres (http://jollysupullit.com.au/eziparts/images/jollysupullitcomau/v588874_640.jpg) picture of a tj engine bay with mixer system and one without (http://jollysupullit.com.au/eziparts/images/jollysupullitcomau/v576010_640.jpg) ..... look at difference in air intake area.
how much you pay for the gas system? if it was <$3000 then 100% guarantee it is mixer....
are you always getting 'bunny hopping' at any times of day? i.e. not only on cold mornings etc
did you change spark plugs before you get the conversion?

I looked at receipts and it cost the previous owner $3,910 and the bunny hopping was just general when driving when it was running on gas runs fine on petrol and i assume he would have for the price he payed i have so far not made any mechanical payment since December last year about to get a Full service done. and if it doesn't cost me a fortune to fix the gas system ill get that serviced to :)

does anyone have any thoughts or have experience/knowledge that knows what the problem could be as it could be a number of things with a gas system and would rather know sooner so i know what im looking at to spend to get it repaired. cheers Chris.

First off, check your vaccuum hoses, they would have placed a T piece on a vaccuum line running off and in front of you throttle body. Should be in between the heads, above the transmiision.
Where are you located,

and what am i specifically looking for on the vacuum hoses? cheers Chris.

Near the throttle body, there is three black rubber vaccuum hoses, each with a different color stripe red blue/green and Yellow I think. These hoses usually group into a round neoprene tube protector about an inch in diameter. Above the water pump.
The Gas install should have interfered with one of these, and put in a T-piece, to tell the gas system how much gas to supply, from the manifold vaccuum.
Sounds like one of these has come lose, split.
As far as a gas service goes, they just replace the filter, (12.00) and and check the mapping without doing anything, just a scam to get $120.00 out of your pocket.
