I was thinking of buying this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/MOULDED-PLUSH-CAR-CARPET-SET-MITSUBISHI-MAGNA-TR-TS-/360300220421?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53e3911005#ht_3197wt_1139

I wanted the interior red, but now I'm thinking of purple because it'll look better with the aspen green that my car is (I like purple and green together, you can't blame me, I grew up in the 90's) - Also, I really wanted purple lights in my grille (because you can't have red).

The problem is, the carpet doesn't come in purple, the only really bright colours are red or blue.

How would I go about getting purple moulded carpet? Honestly I can only afford $200-$250 for it, but it seems like an impossible feat.

those non oem moulded carpets are not that great. Nothing is as good as the OEM carpet but i thin they came in black and blue only. I bought a black non oem moulded carpet and i wasnt impressed. You have to cut ALL the holes youself. To look good i reckon it needs professional fitting. Im going to do as another member did and buy a 2nd hand good condition 3rd gen carpet because they just as close a fit but feel much better

I don't really mind cutting the holes, as long as it's the right colour. And now I can't see anywhere that sells purple, I contacted the company making the one in the link to see if they would use their moulds/equipment to mould a different coloured carpet, but they wont.

Does anyone know a way?

Send the seller a message asking?

Yeah, I might thanks. They won't use any other carpets, but maybe they'll point me to someone who will.

Plutonic...with lighter colored carpets you can actually dye them to suit. You can buy the dyes online...even Ebay, I believe. You fit the carpets, dye them in situ and let them dry.
