Hi guys havnt needed help before but just cleaned the car (TH wagon) and found the front passenger floor wet and smelling of glyco it looks like the heater or the connections onto the heater has fractured. Looked at the book, looks like a pig of a job as the first thing the book tells you is to remove dashboard. Has anyone had this problem? And how long does it take to do or how much did it cost. Being time poor my have to get Agastino Mitsubishi on job.

I think Mal can do it without taking the dashboard completely out, have seen writeups on here before but can't remember where. As a temporary fix you can bypass the heater core hoses in the engine bay and it won't leak, but you'll have no heater either.

Have the car on bypass have looked at the manual havnt the time to fix and it also involves ac so looks like a job for mitsbishi.

Mal did my heater core when it stuffed, but is definitely a dash out job.
Nearly everything comes out actually. I'm on my phone so can't see where you are from but if you're Vic Mal is worth the trip.
He quoted and charged me half of what Mitsubishi did. The guy just said 'you'd be looking at least $1000 of labour plus parts.'

Aircon does not get touched and i did also do a faq here on amc somewhere on dash removal

Is over a grand at most dealers or some do drive over from sa to do this as i charge 350 or 550 with new core and seals. Depends on time as if you are busy you also need to determine the cost of time off vs the cost of getting it done at a dealer

All i will say is if you are getting done by a pro make sure they have done before but there is no reason you cant try yourself as a good sundays work will get it done
