hi everyone,
after now getting my 4 cylinder TR engine sorted, I need to know what coolant to use, as I have heard different things.

just get some nulon long life stuff. if you dont get the pre mix make sure ot use distilled water not tap water.

+ 1 for nulon long life, you can use cheaper crap but i prefer knowing i used something decent and can count on it

Whatever you use, make sure you flush the cooling system yourself or get it flushed at a radiator shop if it's different to whatever was in there before (or you don't know what was in there before), mixing different coolants is a bad idea.

Personally I use the genuine mitsi coolant in both our TR 4 cyl and TJ.

mits coolant is fine, although a bit higher priced then i like

genuine is always best because sometimes the car really needs the middle ground stuff. Forinstance the recommended oil for my s13 was a 7.5w40 which only nissan sold haha convenient. Its always best but they know how to charge for it

i guess that's upto each person to decide,

as for OP either nulon long life or genuine whatever tickles your wallet / easiness to get. i would still vote nulon above mits but thats me

lynel you seem to have posted conflicting posts, maybe you should decide on what advice you would like to give then give it? ( not having a go just saying)

by conflicting you mean that i state to use Nulon Long Life coolant in one and say that genuine is always best? You could percieve this as conflicting, but that was because i assumed the reason the OP was asking was because he/she did not like the recommended coolant in the manual, which to most poeple is usually cost based, which i raised as the counter in the 2nd post. Not conflicting because i never stated Nulon was the best but it is just as suitable
