Anyone out there around Sydney (Woolongong, Newcastle) know which wreckers have 380's is stock (tried the Greenacre one), or a member who has bought a wreck for the engine.
I gate crashed someone else's accidient at Eastern Creek last weekend and lost the drivers front corner.
If anyone can get free, the old TMR red show 380 is racing at E. Creek tomorrow (Fri 29/4/11) in the iRace series, entry free.
Come and say hellow in pit garage 12

Guys, Neil is not after the engine.
He is after the K-frame.

K-frame, cross member, sub frame........the big black lump of metal under the car behind the engine that the steering rack, sway bar and lower wishbones bolt onto.
OK, I have one, but you are a fair way from me.

Holy crap! That's pretty cheap for a 380 engine.
How many KMs does it have on it? Any damage at all? What about a warranty?

Hi Nero, where are you and what other bits do you have? PM your ph no plse.
I'm in Melbourne, so to be honest by the time you got it you might get one cheaper locally? Anyway I'd happily swap it for a new front ball joint?

Thanks for the lead, TJTime, got all the bits. Maybe we should have a dedicated thread for wrecking yards with 380's, there's not much left of the one at Atwins.
Good to meet you, TJ, you can post any of the photos if you wish.

No worries Neil, I was amazed at how capable a nearly stock 380 (Springs, cage + punched out cats) was when raced around a track.
I'll get around to putting up photos!
